In group therapy several clients work together with one or two therapists to learn from each other and grow together. Therapy groups typically focus around a particular struggle or group of people. Groups fall into two broad categories; process-oriented groups, are primarily discussion based and focus on the relationships between the members and skills-based groups, that focus on the practice and gaining mastery on a particular topic of focus. Our current and upcoming groups are listed below.
Current and Upcoming Groups:
This group is for anybody who identifies as QT and BIPOC and would like to find community, process identity/life related themes, and practice social skills, etc. The group format is client-led and process-oriented. The group will be held bi-weekly on Monday evenings in SW Portland and will run continuously. View the group flier here for more information. This group is for adults who struggle with building or maintaining social relationships. The group format is skills based and includes practicing new skills and processing the work to build those skills. The group is held weekly on Mondays in SW Portland and is running for 12 weeks. This group will be for queer men and masculine identified folks to build community and share their stories. It will be a virtual process-oriented group coming summer 2026. More information coming soon.
